the Safety Compliance Assessment Process Provides a systemic Methods of Evaluating and quantifying performance in a detailed but uncomplicated fashion, and Evaluate the administrative elements separate from the field execution elements.
This Evaluation process gives those performing the assessment an agenda of critical Items ot review and when performing follow-Up evaluation, can prompt the evaluator to revisit past deficiencies for the purpose of measuring improvement and /or verifying abatement.
For management and supervision, the final report presents the bottom line results ” Pass/Fail”, without having to read and interpret and entire report summary.However , management it’s encouraged to review detail of even the highest graded evaluations to identify strengths and weaknesses and develop early recognition of positive and negative performance trends.if negative trends are detected early, early corrective actions can be implemented and thereby prevent personnel injury or environmental damage.Beyond the score sheet (Page 1) the detail is there and it reveals, by program element , the areas of strength and weakness,with the detail and assessor’s comments immediately available for further Review .
in addition to providing a consistent means of evaluation, this process is well studied to both those performing the evaluation and those will use the information to improve their safety culture.
